Coby joined Blankenship in July 2024 as a senior audit associate. He is originally from Chattanooga, TN, grew up near Dallas, TX, and went to high school in Clover, SC. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a Finance collateral from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2018 and completed the remaining requirements to sit for the CPA exam at Mountain View College in Dallas, TX. Coby has job experience in different areas such as sales, accounting, and service industries working as an independent salesman, waiter, and auditor. Coby began his career with KPMG's audit practice in Houston, TX where he worked for three and a half years as an audit associate and senior audit associate. He received his CPA license in May of 2023 and is excited about the move back to Tennessee where the majority of his family resides. During his free time, he enjoys intramural sports, Tennessee Volunteers athletics, bike riding, and playing the drums.
